Begin with a specific goal

If you are curious about NAD+ injections, explain what you hope to address and ask your clinician what evidence is relevant to that goal. Ask about uncertainties, alternatives and whether treatment is appropriate for your history. A wellness category name is not proof that a treatment improves longevity or performance.

OliveBird does not promise that NAD+ injections reverse aging, improve energy or produce a particular result. An online visit is an opportunity for review, not a guarantee that a prescription will be issued.

Ask about the risks, not just the benefits

FDA has reported adverse events after NAD+ injectable drugs, including severe chills, shaking, vomiting and fatigue; some cases required medical treatment. Its safety notice also warns about unsuitable ingredients used in sterile compounding. Discuss these concerns with your clinician and dispensing pharmacy.

Clarify the actual prescription

Ask who will dispense the medication, what formulation is proposed, how instructions will be supplied, and how you can reach the care team. The amount listed for a container is not an instruction to administer that amount. Your dose and administration instructions must come from your clinician and pharmacist.

Do not use a promotional product image, social post or another person's prescription as an instruction for your own treatment. If you have a question about the supplied medication or its label, contact the pharmacy before use.

Know how follow-up works

Ask what monitoring is appropriate and what to do if a problem occurs. Keep clinical discussions in your patient portal, and use emergency services for a medical emergency. This article is general education and does not replace personalized medical advice.
